UMG Policies / Terms & Conditions

Please review the following policies regarding ordering, delivery, pickup, returns, exchanges, refunds, and payment.

Placing Orders

  • UMG offers free design services for all kitchen orders.
  • Designs are created based on measurements provided by the client.
  • UMG is not responsible for improper or incorrect measurements, or cabinet sizes provided by the client.
  • UMG is not responsible for fitment issues once the layout design has been confirmed and agreed to by the client.
  • UMG is not responsible for damaged products caused by installation mistakes by the client, unless installation services were provided by UMG.
  • Clients must pay a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm any order.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before pickup, delivery, or installation.

Delivery / Pickup Policy

  • All items must be inspected by the client upon delivery or installation.
  • If there are damaged or missing items, the client must contact UMG immediately.
  • After the client has accepted or signed for the delivery or installation, UMG is not liable for missing items or damage claims, including scratches, cracks, or missing parts.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the shipping location is ready at the time of delivery or installation.
  • The client must be present to sign for the delivery.
  • All cabinet deliveries are curbside only, unless other arrangements have been made.
  • For pickups, UMG is not responsible for damage claims after the client has picked up their order.
  • UMG will inspect all items before they are made ready for pickup.

Return / Exchange / Refund Policy

  • All cabinet sales are final.
  • Once cabinets are confirmed and assembled, UMG will not accept returns or refunds.
  • All countertop sales are final.
  • Once the countertop has been cut and polished, UMG will not be able to provide refunds.
  • There are no refunds unless an issue was made on behalf of UMG.
  • If a client needs to exchange an item, a 45% restocking fee will be applied if the returned item is undamaged.
  • If the item is damaged, there will be no refunds.

Payment Policy

  • UMG accepts cash, checks, and mobile payment services such as Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App.
  • Clients must pay a non-refundable half deposit in order to secure an order.
  • To confirm cabinet orders, clients must pay a 50% deposit and the remaining balance before cabinets can be picked up or delivered.
  • To confirm countertop orders, clients must pay a 50% deposit before scheduling a template, and the remaining balance before installation.

Paying with Checks

  • Checks must clear before proceeding with any order.
  • If a check bounces, an $89 bounced check fee will be applied.
