UMG Policies/Terms & Conditions

Placing Orders:

  • UMG offers free design services for all kitchen orders. We create designs based on measurements provided by the client. UMG is not responsible for any improper/incorrect measurements or cabinet sizes provided by the client

  • UMG is not responsible for any fitment issues once the layout design has been confirmed and agreed by the client

  • UMG is not responsible for any damaged products due to installation mistakes by the client, unless services were provided by UMG

  • Clients must pay a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm any order and agree to pay the remaining balance before pickup, delivery, or installation

Delivery/
Pickup Policy:

  • All items must be inspected by the client upon delivery/installation. If there are any damaged or missed items, the client must call UMG immediately. After the client has accepted/signed for the delivery/installation, UMG is not liable for any missing items or damage claims, including but not limited to scratches, cracks, missing parts, etc. 

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the shipping location is ready at the time of delivery/installation. The client must be present to sign for the delivery. 

  • All cabinet deliveries are curbside ONLY unless other arrangements have been made.

  • For pick ups, UMG is not responsible for any damage claims after the client has picked up their order. Our team will inspect all items before they are ready to be picked up.

Return/Exchange/Refund Policy:

  • All cabinet sales are FINAL. Once cabinets are confirmed and assembled, we will not accept any returns or refunds. 

  • All countertop sales are FINAL. Once the countertop has been cut and polished, we will not be able to provide any refunds.

  • There are no refunds unless an issue was made on behalf of UMG.

  • If the client needs to exchange an item, a 45% restocking fee will be applied for the returned item, if it is undamaged. If the item is damaged, there will be no refunds.

Payment Policy:

  • UMG accepts payment in the form of cash, checks, card, and mobile services such as Zelle, Venmo, and Cashapp.

  • Clients must pay a non-refundable half deposit in order to secure an order

    • To confirm cabinet orders, clients must pay 50% deposit and pay the remaining balance before cabinets can be picked up or delivered

    • To confirm countertop orders, clients must pay 50% deposit before scheduling a template, and pay the remaining balance before installation 

  • Paying with Checks

    • The check needs to be cleared before proceeding with any order. If the check is bounced, there will be an $89 bounced check fee applied.

  • Paying with Card

    • A 6% service fee charge will be applied when paying with card 

    • A $25 fee will be charged if making a payment over the phone
